This resort is located right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale and offers a total of 300 ships capable of hosting vessels up to 300 feet long. Bahia Mar also has 5,000 feet of floating docks and a 3,000-foot parallel dock. It’s no surprise to learn it is the home of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Bahia Mar is a safe place to dock your yacht as it features a security patrol and hi-tech surveillance cameras. If you want to live on your boat for a while, you can enjoy cable TV, telephone and wi-fi services, along with laundry facilities.

The Bahia Mar resort lies on a beautiful beach by the Atlantic Ocean and is close to amenities such as a fitness center, golf course, and tennis courts. You can leave your yacht at Bahia Mar if you need to travel overseas as it is just 4.5 miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

2. Las Olas Marina

Las Olas is one of the numerous marinas located on the Intracoastal Waterway and has a total of 60 slips designed for vessels of all sizes. It also offers two small docks and many temporary anchorages which are set by numbered buoys. If you decide to dock at Las Olas, you will be right beside the revitalized Fort Lauderdale beach.

4. Royale Palm Yacht Basin

Royale Palm is a family-owned marina and has been operating since 1966. It has a reputation for being one of the best marinas in South Florida regarding amenities and has a total of 60 slips. If you decide to dock here, you’ll be walking distance from Dania Beach along with its casino and other entertainment facilities.

The Marina is just two miles from the Port Everglades inlet and has no fixed bridges. It can handle vessels up to 80 feet long, although most of the slips hold boats in the 40-60 feet range. There is also a full-service boatyard facility. The Royale Palm’s in-water service can accommodate yachts up to 145 feet long. There are dozens of high-quality bars and restaurants in the area, and it is also just a few miles from the airport.

5. Harbour Towne Marina

Harbour Towne is a full-service marina with 243 slips located near Dania Beach. It also contains over 600 dry storage spaces for boats less than 50 feet long. The wet slips can accommodate vessels of up to 200 feet, and it offers 24-hour security, complete marine repair facilities and much more.
